Mills

Mills is a health and wellness company focused on foot care and foot health. The primary customer segments for Mills products are wellness and health professionals such as pharmacists, chiropodists and beauty professionals.

Over the years, the Mills’ product repertoire had grown and the customer portfolio had diversified. Mills had begun to sell products in the B2C segment as well, and online product management and data analysis had become complex and time-consuming.

The webstore had not previously been integrated to the customer’s ERP, which made following the product and customer data difficult. There was a need to ease online product management and enable a more accurate method of customer journey and product movement data tracking.

The old e-commerce platform was renewed with a modern WordPress e-commerce plugin, WooCommerce. It was tailored to meet the business needs of the customer. Added and customized plugins included, for example, proactive order creation, recommendation feature, campaign enabling, product information management and more accurate data collection.

Customer paths and conversion points created to the pages enable an improved customer experience as well as more accurate data collection for marketing and business needs.

The new e-commerce store has only been live for a while, but the results so far have been very promising. The installation and customization of WooCommerce and its plugins alongside successful ERP integration ensure that the e-commerce store successfully support Mills’ business operations.
